HES 5000 Series Low-Profile Electric Strike

The HES 5000 is a compact electric strike for commercial cylindrical locksets where jamb depth is limited. Its keeper-pin locking design provides Grade 1 performance in a body that accommodates 1/2-in. latchbolts and 5/8-in. latchbolts when the opening provides the required 1/8-in. door gap.

What Is Included

This SKU is the universal strike body only. A faceplate is not included. Select the appropriate 501, 501A, 502, 503, or 504 faceplate kit separately based on the frame material, preparation, dimensions, corner profile, and finish.

Application Limits

• Designed for cylindrical latchbolts and compatible Adams Rite-style deadlatches; it is not intended for mortise-lock latchbolts.
• Maximum latchbolt accommodation is 5/8 in.; a 5/8-in. latch requires a 1/8-in. door gap.
• No horizontal adjustment and no preload-release capability.
• The 5000 Series is not fire rated.
• Verify frame material, jamb depth, door gap, latch alignment, faceplate selection, and lip-extension requirements before cutting the frame.
• Outdoor-rated unmonitored configurations must be installed above 32 degrees F according to HES application guidance.

Confirm whether the opening needs a body-only strike or the 5000C complete pack, whether latchbolt monitoring is required, and which faceplate and finish match the frame. Faceplates are not interchangeable simply by appearance; use the faceplate dimensions and frame application shown in the HES catalog and dimensional drawing.
