The MV EX-2116 is built with heavy composite construction and a massive 41/2 inch thick door loaded with up to 5 angled hardplates and a glass relocking device to provide premium burglary protection. With large hinges, quality construction, and an UL listed electronic lock, our MagnaVault series will ensure you have many worry free years of protection.

• Fire Insurance Laboratories tested for 105 minutes at 1200 degrees, maintaining an internal temperature under 350 degrees.
• Body has a six sided 2 inch thick composite construction with one recessed mount hole.
• 11/8 inch diameter chrome plated locking bolts.
• Up to five, 1/4 inch hardplates mounted at angles inside the door and body to provide maximum drill attack prevention.
• Tempered glass plate relocker to protect against attacks on the lock.
• Mechanical relocker for additional security.
• Extra heavy duty bolt work.
• A reinforced solid continuous dead bolt locks on the hinge side of the door ensuring security even if the hinges are cut off.
• 1/8″ intumescent door seal that swells at high temperatures to seal the door from fire, smoke, and water.
• 7 step proprietary paint finish.
• 1/2″ tempered glass shelves tested to hold over 200 pounds.
• Interior LED lighting.

Construction

• Solid composite construction.
• 4 1/2″ thick door.
• 2″ thick body.
• 1/4″ drill resistive hard plate in the door and under key portions of the bolt work.
  MV-1512 & MV-2116 have a total of 3 hardplates guarding the boltwork.
  MV-2916 & MV-3516 have a total of 5 hardplates guarding the boltwork.
• Relocking devices attached to a glass plate to protect against drill attacks.
• 11/8″ diameter bolts.
• Reinforced full length, hinge side locking bar.
• Fire Insurance Laboratories tested for 105 minutes at 1200 degrees, maintaining internal temperature under 350 degrees.

Installation Limitation

We will only install the safe on ground floor in single family homes such as house, townhouse and multi-family home. Apartments. Condominiums require onsite assessment and may need approval from condo association.
